Description

ISO/IEC 12207 Software Life Cycle Processes defines a common set of tasks required for developing and maintaining software. It establishes a lifecycle for software development, including processes and activities applied from the acquisition to the deployment of a software product.

This course has been specifically designed to teach the processes, activities, tasks and outcomes to be addresses in order to comply with ISO/IEC 12207.

  • The ISO/IEC 12207 primary lifecycle processes (Acquisition, Supply, Development, Operation and Maintenance)
  • The supporting processes (Documentation, Config Management, Quality Assurance, Verification, Validation, Review, Audit and Problem Resolution)
  • The activities associated with each lifecycle process
  • The tasks associated with each lifecycle process
  • The outcomes associated with each lifecycle process
  • The deliverables associated with each lifecycle process
  • Mapping existing software lifecycles to ISO/IEC 12207
